Youth Fest 2023: A new chapter
Previously Victorian Youth Week, this program underwent a transformation in 2022, giving birth to the new and improved Youth Fest.
This transition was fuelled by feedback received from previous grant recipients. The goal was clear: to create an environment where youth-focused and youth-led events could flourish, irrespective of the challenges posed by the pandemic.
A Celebration that spans September
The essence of Youth Fest lies not just in its name but in its structure. Following its success in 2022, we extend the celebration beyond a single week to encompass the entire month of September.
By doing so, we respond to the aspirations of local councils, schools, community organisations and young people alike, allowing events to unfold across both school terms and school holidays.
