Registration for the 2026 Premiers’ Reading Challenge is open.
The Challenge is a fun and easy way to encourage children from birth to Year 10 to read. This year’s theme is ‘Stories to discover. Stories to tell’.
Since the Challenge began in 2005, more than 4.7 million children and young people have participated and read more than 66 million books.
Information is available to learn more about the Premiers' Reading Challenge rules for children below school age.
