After several years of service, MyVictoria has now been decommissioned.
Launched to empower Victorian residents, businesses, and community groups, MyVictoria was designed as a one-stop platform to easily access a wealth of localised data — from demographics and housing to infrastructure, jobs, and community services. It served as a pioneering example of how government can use open data to foster stronger communities and better-informed decisions.
Since its launch, MyVictoria has:
- Helped thousands of Victorians discover insights about their local areas.
- Supported small businesses in identifying opportunities for growth.
- Provided planners and policymakers with better tools to understand and respond to community needs.
- Set a benchmark for transparent, accessible public data in Victoria.
By bringing together complex information into a clear and user-friendly format, MyVictoria not only made data accessible — it made it meaningful. It has been celebrated for promoting civic engagement, enabling innovation, and strengthening the relationship between government and the community.
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the lessons, technologies, and partnerships developed through MyVictoria will continue to influence future initiatives across Victoria. We are proud of what this project achieved and grateful to all the users, partners, and contributors who made it a success.
While MyVictoria has concluded, the Victorian Government remains committed to open data and digital innovation. You can continue to access valuable data resources through data.vic.gov.au and related platforms.
Thank you for being part of the MyVictoria journey.
