It’s easy to get hooked on Public Record Office Victoria (PROV)’s award-winning podcast ‘Look history in the eye’.

The podcast takes a deep dive into Victoria’s public records to uncover details about the state’s colourful past.

In each episode, the PROV hosts put a spotlight on a fascinating piece of Victoria’s history. The podcast also features special guests, such as Victorian historians, writers, academics and more.

A love letter written in 1919 between Melbourne men Ben Morris and Harry Bruin (Criminal Trial Briefs, VPRS 30/P0000, 100).
