Each year, the SSR sends a short survey to our registered social service providers to seek feedback on their satisfaction with our education and guidance materials.
Last year you told us you needed easier access to information and guidance, tools to proactively assess your compliance and an easier way to discuss matters with the SSR. Some of the actions we have taken to address this feedback include:
- publishing a self-assessment tool for the Social Services Standards
- providing more detailed information about our registration process and how we regulate social services
- improving our newsletter as a tool to communicate with you
- updating information on our website and making it easier to navigate
- creating a contact centre to assist with individualised queries.
In July we conducted a new survey and received an overall satisfaction score of 95 per cent. This was an improvement on our satisfaction score of 88% in 2025. Our information sessions, written resources, newsletters and website all received high satisfaction scores.
Respondents provided constructive feedback about what was helpful to them, the value of specialised guidance and knowledge, and how we can continue to support them in the future. We will use this feedback to help us to continue improving our education resources and exploring how we can connect you to the information you need.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide their input. Please contact us to provide feedback about our education and guidance resources at any time.
