- Improving institutional responding and reporting- Volume 7 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission in 2017 contains 12 recommendations relating to mandatory reporting. 
- Recordkeeping and information sharing- Volume 8 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission in 2017 contains 23 recommendations relating to recordkeeping and information sharing between institutions. 
- Advocacy, support and therapeutic treatment services- Volume 9 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission in 2017 contains 9 recommendations about improving service systems for all victims and survivors of child sexual abuse. 
- Children with harmful sexual behaviours- Volume 10 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission in 2017 contains 7 recommendations for improving responses to children with problem or abusive sexual behaviours. 
- Contemporary out-of-home care- Volume 12 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission in 2017 contains 22 recommendations relating to preventing child sexual abuse in out-of-home care. 
- Schools- Volume 13 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission 2017 contains 8 recommendations to prevent child sexual abuse from occurring in schools. 
- Sport, recreation, arts, culture, community and hobby groups- Volume 14 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission 2017 contains 4 recommendations to enhance child safety in sport, recreation, arts, culture, community and hobby groups. 
- Contemporary detention environments- Volume 15 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission 2017 contains 15 recommendations to prevent child sexual abuse from occurring in detention environments. 
- Beyond the Royal Commission- Volume 17 of the Final Report of the Royal Commission 2017 contains 6 recommendations about monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the Royal Commission’s recommendations. 
- Working with Children Checks Report (2015)- The Royal Commission recommended that the Australian Government facilitate and manage a national model for Working with Children Checks (WWCCs). 
- Redress and Civil Litigation Report (2015)- The Redress and Civil Litigation Report contains 84 recommendations about redress for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse, and a further 15 recommendations to reform civil litigation. 
- Criminal Justice Report (2017)- The Criminal Justice Report contained recommendations covering a broad range of issues, including reporting, investigation & prosecution of child sexual abuse offences, and criminal and evidence law.
