Award winning performer and director (Green Room Award and Edinburgh Fringe Awards), Neill’s career encompasses Olympic and Paralympic Games ceremonies, comedy, physical theatre, opera, Shakespeare, films and television.
Formerly half of internationally renowned comedy duo Los Trios Ringbarkus, Neill has directed productions for many of Australia’s major subsidised theatre companies, independent theatres and commercial presenters, as well as produced and executive produced for film and television.
Message from the Creative Director
The Spectacular is the life-breath of Victoria. For 30 years the air of imagination, rehearsal and performance has brought communities from across this state, led by their children, to a crescendo of song, music and dance.
This year our student cast gave us song themes of flying, floating and soaring; music that was truly on air. From these ideas the 2025 Spectacular was born - transcending the terrestrial and embracing the stratosphere.
The Spectacular brings strength and empowerment to the students, and their journey’s experience, in-hand, brings strength to their teachers and families. Strong, happy communities are healthy communities. Worthy of celebration.
