Be Spectacular
Audition for the 2027 Victorian State Schools Spectacular.
As you’ve seen, every year thousands of students from Victorian government schools take part in one of the largest performing arts events in Australia – a song and dance extravaganza – the Victorian State Schools Spectacular.
In Term 4, we begin looking for talented government school students who can sing, dance, play an instrument, beat box or rap, or who have circus and other speciality performance skills, to audition for a role in the principal cast.
We are also looking for students who might be interested in behind-the-scenes roles in audio, lighting, video and camera, stage management, costume making, make-up, photography and publicity.
Students benefit from the unique opportunity of working with industry professionals across all disciplines, as well as the amazing experience of performing live, here at John Cain Arena in front of an audience of thousands and for a television broadcast.
