How your donation has already helped
On 16 January 2026, the VERRF board approved a $250,000 contribution from the 2026 Victorian Bushfire Appeal to GIVIT. The funding will be used to provide goods and materials to individuals impacted by the fires across Victoria. If you were impacted, please go to the GIVIT website for organisations and services in your local area.
The board is continuing to assess the remaining level of donations to determine where funds can add the most value to impacted communities.
In addition to the work of VERRF, the Victorian Government has a range of grants and services in place to assist individuals, households and businesses impacted by the January 2026 Victorian bushfires, more information can be found at Emergency Recovery Victoria.
