We are pleased to announce Amanda Triffon to be the winner of ARBV Award for excellence in the area of Professional Practice, Architecture program for 2021 at Deakin University.

Amanda's academic journey began when she undertook the Advanced Diploma of Building Design (Architectural) course.

Once I completed the course, I worked full-time in the industry. However, it became apparent that I would not be able to fulfil my obligations as a professional without further study.

For this reason, I studied Architecture at Deakin University where I built relationships with mentors that have contributed to moulding me into the architect I aspire to become.

We asked Amanda about her goals and plans for the future. If her studies so far had confirmed her interest in working in the field and how the award will contribute to her future plans.

After completing my studies, my goal is to become a registered architect which will allow me to lead a more diverse range of projects, roles and responsibilities.
