Merger in 1984: Bentleigh High School No. 7600 closed and merged with Moorabbin Technical School No. 7255 to form Moorabbin City Technical High School No. 7255.

Name change 1997: Moorabbin City Secondary College changed its name to Bentleigh Secondary College.
