Contact the Restorative Engagement and Support team

Who we support

The Department of Education's Restorative Engagement and Support team supports former students who have experienced sexual abuse by an adult working in a Victorian government school.

How we can help

The Restorative Engagement and Support team can support you to:

  • decide if an acknowledgement or apology would be helpful for you
  • get your school records
  • understand how to report the abuse to Victoria Police
  • access funding for counselling with a private practitioner
  • understand possible pathways for redress or compensation
  • connect with other relevant services if needed.
