In Conversation Panel Event: Recap

On the 1st of December we held an ‘In Conversation’ panel event at The Wheeler Centre. During this event we heard from representatives of the Collaborative Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the University of Melbourne to explore our vision and aspiration for our inaugural partnership. 

Collaborative Centre Chair of the Board, Terry Laidler opened proceedings with a short keynote address before handing over to Deputy Chair of the Board, Maria Katsonis who facilitated an enlightening discussion with the University of Melbourne's Vrinda Edan who is a consumer lived experience researcher, and Professor Chris Davey, Head of the Department of Psychiatry; and from the Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services, Gail Bradley, Operations Director and Helen Searle, Director of Carer Lived Experience.

The panel were representing the broader group of 20 partners that work with the Centre to achieve system wide transformation, through consumer and carer lived and living experience leadership. Deputy Chair of the LEAP, Emily Unity, brought proceedings to a close.
