The year ahead
The Board welcomed the new Co-CEOs and began the meeting with a reflective discussion about the year ahead. This year will see the Collaborative Centre transition from its establishment phase to a stronger focus on delivery and a shift to a public facing organisation with the move to new premises at 205 Queensberry St. The appointment of the Co-CEOs will provide the leadership needed to make this transition as well as provide stability to the organisation.
Strategic priorities
The Board approved a paper and timeline outlining the strategic priorities and approvals needed over the remaining 2023 - 2024 Statement of Priorities period. These cover the following areas:
- partnerships & service improvement
- embedding lived experience
- research
- workforce
- communications and engagement
- governance and business operations.
Major milestones are outlined below:

Brand development
The board approved the Collaborative Centre brand developed by Showpony and endorsed by the branding working group. This group comprised members of the Lived Experiences Advisory Panel (LEAP), the board and staff. The next step is to seek internal government approval.
Lived experience framework
The Board received a presentation from Louise Byrne about her current research work on lived experience and the role of organisational frameworks and strategies. This led to a discussion about the approach to the development of the Collaborative Centre’s Lived Experience Framework
