Clay letters - teaching demonstration

This video shows children working with clay to make an art installation of the Yarra River.

They are familiar with using clay to produce coils (long strips), and the educator extends on this to allow children to form single letters. Children work to create a label for their Yarra River installation, building their fine motor skills and phonics knowledge.
