Victoria needs skilled cyber security experts to help keep our community safe. We are calling for the next generation of cyber security professionals to join the Victorian Government Cyber Internship Program.

Now in its third year, the program gives recent Certificate IV in Cyber Security graduates the chance to work alongside experts in the Victorian Government. Interns will build skills in one of the following streams:

  • incident response
  • cyber awareness and education
  • threat intelligence
  • governance, risk and compliance
  • security operations.

The program is part of the Victorian Government's Free TAFE initiative and is designed to help close the cyber skills gap. Interns gain valuable knowledge and help protect Victoria from growing cyber threats.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including women, LGBTIQA+ communities, gender diverse people, neurodivergent people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability and those living in regional Victoria. Diversity strengthens our workforce and helps bring new perspectives to cyber security.
