North Richmond masterplan framework

We’ve developed a framework for the North Richmond masterplan that presents priorities and actions we’re already taking to address issues in North Richmond. It sets the vision for the precinct.

We’re preparing a masterplan to revitalise the North Richmond housing site over the next 5-10 years. The masterplan will focus on improvements including new housing, uses which respond to local needs and provide opportunities for employment, new safer streets, and better parks and places for recreation.

We have already heard from the community that safety needs to be a key priority, through improved open space, connections and integrating activities that support employment and economic uplift.

The vision

Our vision is to make North Richmond a safe, connected and thriving place for residents, workers, and visitors.

We have been listening to the community to understand the opportunities and the challenges to transform the North Richmond and we have created 6 key moves to help us to achieve this vision.
