Details
The school's names in its early years are unclear. After opening sometime around 1919 as Ballarat School of Domestic Arts it had become Ballarat Girls High School by about the 1940s.
In 1977 it merged with Ballarat Technical School, relocated to Mount Clear and was named Ballarat Technical High School.
In 1990 the school changed its name to Mount Clear Secondary College and in 2001 it became Mount Clear College.
