We have added 4 new Intentional Teaching (Build) professional learning courses to the Early Childhood Hub.

These complement the existing Introduction to Intentional Teaching, and Language and Literacy courses.
We have developed these to support the Kindergarten Teaching Excellence Approach. The courses and resources aim to build teachers’ and educators’ understanding of intentional play-based teaching and learning in specific content areas. They also aim to build their capacity to implement this approach in their practice.
The Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework helps early years professionals develop a common language and shared understanding. This helps them to extend children’s learning through play, intentional teaching and meaningful experiences. We encourage you to explore the updated framework with your team.
