Signed project declarations under the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act (MTPFA)

Project declarations signed by the Victorian Premier under the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act (MTPFA) 2009.

If the Premier has assessed a transport project to be a project that is of economic, social or environmental significance to the State or a region, the Premier can make a declaration under the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 (Act) that the project is a declared project to which all of the Act applies or to which all of the Act except Parts 3 and 8 applies.

The Premier must have regard to the project declaration guidelines prepared by the Premier for the purposes of assessing the economic, social or environmental significance of a transport project.
