Street Debris Removal Program

We are supporting local councils with the safe collection and removal of debris caused by the December 2023 – January 2024 Victorian storms and floods through our Street Debris Removal Program.

Through the program, we will work with local councils who need extra assistance to coordinate, remove and dispose of waste and debris after the floods and storms.

Councils are leading the collection, with support provided by our lead contractor, Johns Lyng Group. Once the waste and debris has been safely collected, it will be taken to a suitable waste management facility for processing.

Councils involved in the program will let eligible residents know:

  • waste and debris collection dates
  • where to leave the debris
  • other important information related to the clean-up.

For more information, please contact your local council directly or call the Emergency Recovery Hotline on 1800 560 760.
