Help for businesses affected by the January 2026 Victorian bushfires.

Prolonged Power Outage Payments – business

If your business has been without power for at least 7 days in a 2-week period, you are eligible to receive payments of up to $3,088 per week, for up to three weeks.

Affected businesses can apply for a payment through their electricity distribution business.

Business Recovery Advisory Service

The Business Recovery Advisory Service will be available on the ground and through the Business Victoria website.

This service will provide free, confidential, one-on-one support to business owners from Business Recovery Advisors to identify their needs and develop strategies for long-term recovery.

Small Business Financial Counselling

The Small Business Financial Counselling service will provide free and confidential financial counselling to businesses who are who are in, or at risk of, financial hardship due to the bushfires.
