Recovery Hubs reopening in 'safe operation' mode

In line with easing lockdown restrictions across regional Victoria, Bushfire Recovery Victoria’s Hubs will reopen from 10am Tuesday 15 June in ‘safe operation’ mode. This means:

  • Physical hub locations will be open in a limited fashion for face-to-face interactions, subject to BRV staff availability and COVID-19 restrictions.
  • It’s best to call ahead before you visit – appointments are preferred. Contact details for your local hub are available below.
  • To support community members, the BRV staff continue working full-time and are available by phone and email.
  • Services provided at hubs by other agencies will be by appointment only.
  • Hub outreach services to remote communities will be done by appointment.

When Hubs are being used for appointments, staff will:

  • Follow all restrictions outlined by the Chief Health Officer.
  • Adhere to social distancing, wearing of face covering, gathering size and good hygiene practices.
  • Consider specific ways to modify service delivery to ‘at risk’ community members (e.g., people aged 70 years and over).
  • Reduce close person-to-person contact where possible.
  • Provide QR code check-in points (or alternates) to support contact tracing.
  • Implement routine cleaning and disinfection of all frequently touched surfaces and objects.

BRV staff work hard to deliver for their communities and should COVID change things again, we'll look at what we can do and let the community know what it means for the Hubs’ operation as soon as possible.

Information about each hub operating hours is listed below.
