84,677 requests for information sharing, including:
- 9,820 from Victoria Police (+21% from 2023-24)
- 11,364 from Families, Fairness and Housing (e.g., Child Protection, Housing) (+40% from 2023-24)
- 18,581 from Corrections and Justice Services (−10% from 2023–24)
- 45,120 from the courts (−12% from 2023–24)
Central Information Point* reports
The Central Information Point provided 10,100 reports, a 26% increase from 2023–24, including:
- CIP Brief report – 4,678 (+123% from 2023–24)
- CIP Comprehensive report – 5,422 (−8% from 2023–24)
*The Central Information Point is an information sharing service that brings risk relevant information about a perpetrator or alleged perpetrator into a single report. This information is used by frontline practitioners to support family violence risk assessment and management.
Risk Assessments
Practitioners conducted 105,242 risk assessments.
Safety Plans
Practitioners made 32,352 safety plans.
Practitioners have now completed 521,862 risk assessment and safety plans since April 2018.
Respectful Relationships initiative
90 new non-government schools signed up in 2024–25, bringing the total participating schools to over 2,000.
MARAM Survey
There were 1,387 participants, a 33% increase from 2023–24. 91% of practitioners are confident in collaborating with other practitioners across the service system.
Training
95,917 MARAM-aligned modules were completed across the service sector. Peak bodies and Principal Strategic Advisors delivered non-accredited training in MARAM responsibilities; 99% of participants were satisfied with the training.
