Introduction
The October 2022 Victorian floods impacted homes and communities across Victoria, and recovery is still ongoing. This campaign will play a vital role in raising awareness of the flood assistance that continues to be available from Emergency Recovery Victoria.
In this pack, you will find key messages and materials about the Flood Recovery Hotline. As a key figure in your community, we ask for your support sharing this information widely through your networks. By doing so, you’ll be helping your community rebuild and recover from the devastating impacts of the floods.
Key messages
If you have been affected by the Victorian floods call the Flood Recovery Hotline on 1800 560 760.
The hotline is open from 8.30 am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.
We can offer assistance in multiple languages. Simply press 9 for an interpreter when you call the Flood Recovery Hotline.
We’re here to help you with a range of services, including clean-up, accommodation, financial, mental health, and other forms of support.

- Please share these materials with your community by email, social media or through messaging apps and channels you know will reach them best.
- Direct people affected by the floods to call the Flood Recovery Hotline on 1800 560 760. The hotline offers assistance in multiple languages, just advise to press 9 when calling.
