Introduction
The Victorian Government is continuing to offer support to people affected by the October 2022 Victorian floods.
An all-hazards structural assessment is available for properties located in local councils on the list of natural disaster declarations affected by the October 2022 Victorian floods. This assessment can connect residents to other support if they are eligible. They can also use it as part of an insurance claim or to tell tradespeople about the repairs they need.
In this pack, you will find key messages, social media tiles and posters to share on your channels with the community.
By doing so, you will be helping Victorians who have been affected by the floods to understand where to turn to for support.
Messaging
Has your house or business been affected by the October 2022 Victorian floods? You can get a free assessment of structures on your property, like buildings or caravans. The assessment will tell you about:
- the damage to the structure
- whether it is dangerous to live in or use
- what extra support may be available to you if you are eligible.

The assessment will tell you:
- about any damage including whether the structure is dangerous to live in or use

- whether it is eligible for extra support under the program.
