Step 1. Eligibility assessment
We look at every application to make sure they meet eligibility criteria.
Step 2. Merit assessment (medium and large streams only)
We assess all eligible medium and large applications against the merit assessment criteria.
Step 3. Assessment panel
An assessment panel comprising relevant experts will review applications in all streams.
Step 4. Ministerial approval
The Minister for Multicultural and Multifaith Victoria makes the final decision based on the recommendations.
Step 5. Outcome notification
All applicants are notified of the outcome via email.
