As part of our federated publishing model, departments and agencies are responsible for publishing their own content.
Approvers are able to publish to the CMS.
Editors cannot publish. They must save their pages in draft for Approvers to then review and publish.
Who's eligible to be an Approver?
You must:
- be working in a Victorian government digital team responsible for a Single Digital Presence publishing queue
- have completed the editor training
- understand the digital accessibility requirements for publishing Victorian government content
- commit to create user-centred content that follows the Victorian Government style guide.
How to publish content on vic.gov.au or semi websites
1. Request Approver access
You need to attach email proof or a note of endorsement from your Senior Digital Manager.
2. Read the modules and complete the quiz
Once your request has been approved, we'll send you a link to our training modules and the Approver training quiz.
Your Approver access will only be given once you have successfully completed the training quiz.
