Find out how to get our approval to deliver an RSA course in Victoria.

Access to the database

Approved course providers get a username and password to access the RSA Certificate Database.

The database allows you to:

  • register learners
  • access training materials
  • access certificates you issued before 1 December 2025.

To stay compliant with your obligations, you must keep the information in the database up-to-date.

Training materials

You can access our high-quality training materials in the RSA Certificate Database, including the learner workbook, training presentation and posters.

You can use these materials freely and adapt them as needed.

New trainer registration

You need to register any trainers who will deliver RSA training.

To register a trainer, email lcv.education@justice.vic.gov.au and include:

  • the trainer's name
  • evidence the trainer meets the requirements to deliver RSA training, as outlined in the guidelines for RSA courses.

If we have these details we can register a trainer within 2 business days.

Quarterly update

When you become an approved RSA course provider, we add you to the mailing list for our quarterly industry update.

This keeps you updated on:

  • any changes affecting RSA course delivery, such as legislative changes
  • new resources to help with RSA training.
