Temporary accommodation during the October 2022 Victorian floods

Housing support is available to people affected by the October 2022 Victorian floods.

Help is available to all affected Victorians who need housing support through the Flood Recovery Support Program. The program can provide you with a Recovery Support Worker to be your single point of contact for recovery services.

A Recovery Support Worker can help you:

  • find housing support that suits you
  • access any other support you for your recovery.

Aspen Lodge Caravan Park

Aspen Lodge Caravan Park has different sized cabins and caravans at affordable rates.

ERV supported Aspen Lodge to re-open after the October 2022 Victorian floods to create affordable accommodation and housing options for community members displaced from the floods.

Short term modular housing in Rochester

Twenty short-term modular houses are available for eligible Rochester residents to stay in while they recover. These modular houses are provided at affordable rates.

ERV reused short-term modular houses from its 2019/20 bushfire program to create more affordable accommodation options for Rochester residents.

Previous support

After the October 2022 Victorian floods, many people were unable to return to their homes.

ERV provided a range of emergency and temporary accommodation options to support these residents. This included hotels, motels, caravan parks, the Centre for National Resilience, and Elmore Village.
