Supporting women investors to invest in women entrepreneurs

The female focused investor network’s vision is to equip women to become successful investors. Inventors wealth should be enhanced through connection, investment and support of women entrepreneurs in early stage business.

95 per cent of angel investors and venture capital partners are men. Less than 10 per cent of entrepreneurs successful in raising capital are female. Scale is unique as it focuses on women as investors and entrepreneurs.

In 2013, Laura McKenzie was recruited as the inaugural Scale CEO. Laura is passionate about unlocking the potential of early stage businesses and connecting female entrepreneurs with capital. She and her team have set their sights on long-term success.

Join the community

Laura and the executive team at Scale Investors have created a community. It’s fun, and creative. Some of Scale’s investors have started businesses together, sit on boards and have developed new friendships. Scale Angels are involved in Start-up Victoria, Melbourne Accelerator Program and other initiatives.
