Prep bags 2027 design competition

Earlier in the year, we invited 2026 Prep students to submit an original artwork for the opportunity to have it featured on next year’s Prep bags. The theme for Prep bags 2027 is ‘My year of Prep’.

We received hundreds of creative and imaginative entries from Prep students attending a Victorian public school.

We’re excited to share the winning artwork and 5 highly commended designs from these standout artists, whose work captured the spirit of the theme.

Winner

Congratulations to Anabelle from Burnside Primary School, the inaugural winner of the Prep bags design competition.

Anabelle’s design will feature on thousands of Prep bags that will be given to students starting Prep at a Victorian public school in 2027.

Artwork story

My artwork is about my year of Prep.

I drew pictures of things I learnt about and liked at school.

I drew a rainbow because my year was happy and colourful.

I have grown a lot. I am learning to be brave, kind and curious.

I love my school, my friends and all my teachers.

Prep has been so much fun!
