Proposals to pay an executive above their relevant band – requests for advice

Following stakeholder consultation, the Tribunal has revised its approach to payment above the band proposals and has updated its form and guidance. The Tribunal will accept submissions in the prior format until March 2024.

2024 Determination of VPS executive remuneration bands

The Tribunal has published notice of its intention to make a new Determination setting the values of the remuneration bands for executives employed in public service bodies.

The Tribunal invites submissions from interested persons or bodies in relation to the proposed Determination.

Mayors, Deputy Mayors and Councillors – 2023 Annual Adjustment Determination

The Tribunal has made a Determination providing for an annual adjustment to the values of the allowances payable to Mayors, Deputy Mayors and Councillors. The Determination is effective from 1 July 2023.

Members of Parliament – 2023 Determination

The Tribunal has made the Members of Parliament (Victoria) Determination No. 01/2023, which sets the value of salaries, work-related parliamentary allowances and the Electorate Office and Communications (EO&C) Budget for Members of the Parliament of Victoria.

The Tribunal has also made the Members of Parliament (Victoria) Guidelines No. 01/2023, which set rules and eligibility criteria for the use of certain work-related parliamentary allowances and the EO&C Budget.

The Determination and Guidelines take effect on 1 July 2023.
