Clean Economy Workforce Development Strategy 2023 to 2033

Supporting clean energy jobs planning through data and insights

Our work is supporting renewable energy jobs planning in response to the Clean Economy Workforce Development Strategy 2023-2033. The strategy is a 10‑year planning and investment framework to prepare the state’s workforce for a net zero future. It provides a foundation for the training pathways needed to meet the growing demand for skills as Victoria moves towards net-zero emissions by 2045.

The strategy outlines 5 strategic priorities to drive the workforce transition, including a targeted skills model, flexible education and training, and enhanced workforce planning and attraction.
