  • Pre-accredited trainer to register for professional development on Taking a project-based approach to foundation skills development involving five workshops all to be attended using the registration form available from nadia.casarotto@vu.edu.au

The ACFE Board invites Learn Local pre-accredited trainers to register for free professional development on "Taking a project-based approach to foundation skills development involving five interlinked workshops" run by Victoria University, Curriculum Maintenance Manager (VU CMM).

Using a project-based approach to foundation skills development supports adult learning principles by situating learning in meaningful contexts and achievement of quality delivery of literacy, numeracy, English language, employability and digital skills, a key focus of the ACFE Board Strategy 2020 to 2025.

The VU CMM program involves an integrated process of planning, applying, reviewing and reflecting. This is a valuable opportunity to work closely with your peers to constructively review your teaching practice with the potential to amend or improve practices and approaches in facilitating the development of the English language, literacy, numeracy, employability and digital skills of your learners.

To obtain the maximum benefit, participants must attend all five workshops in the scheduled program:
