The final symposium in our Summer Symposium Series focused on disability, VET and the workplace, and explored how Victoria can create more inclusive skills, training and employment pathways for people with disability.
Conversations highlighted the importance of co-design, lived experience and strong partnerships in addressing systemic barriers and improving equity.
Participants identified opportunities to build more inclusive workplaces and learning environments through accessible practices, supportive employment pathways, flexible training models and organisational cultures that value and embed disability inclusion at every level.
Thank you to all speakers for generously sharing their expertise and lived experience, which provided invaluable insights, enriched shared understanding, and helped advance meaningful discussion.
