Electrical apprenticeship sparks a career in solar for Madi

Madi always wanted to be an electrician. After completing her VCE, she became an electrical apprentice at a small, family-owned solar company, where she conducts home assessments and works on full electrical installations. She does her off-the-job training at both TAFE and university, and loves the theoretical and practical elements of her apprenticeship.

Madi is keen to gain further accreditation from the Clean Energy Council and hopes to start her own solar business in the future.
