We operate 269 six/seven-carriage trains across 16 lines, 222 stations and 998 kilometres of track, seven days a week.

The Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board's role is to plan and promote adult learning, allocate resources, develop policies and advise the Minister for Skills and TAFE on matters related to adult education in Victoria.
Through the Board, the Victorian Government provides funding to registered Learn Local providers to deliver education and training programs to a broad range of Victorians who are above compulsory school age and who are seeking to gain the educational capacity and core skills they need for study, work and life.
The Board provides funding to around 180 Learn Local providers, as well as AMES Australia and the Centre for Adult Education to deliver pre-accredited training and other programs.

The Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc. (VAEAI) was first established in 1976 as the Victorian Aboriginal Education Consultative Group. With an aim to increase the presence and voice of Koorie people in education decision making.
Today VAEAI represents the Koorie Community in relation to education policy development and strategic programming at the local, state and national levels.
With its growth VAEAI’s functions have been enhanced through a number of policies and strategies, including, Yalca: A Partnership in Education and Training for the New Millennium (2001), Wurreker: The Koorie Community and TAFE in Victoria in Equal Partnership (2000) and Wannik: Learning Together – Journey to Our Future (2008).
