Cameras Save Lives is managed by the Department of Justice and Community and provides information about the operation and impact of Victoria’s road safety camera system.

Our road safety partners
In Victoria, the following agencies are responsible for road safety:

Collectively, these agencies are united in their efforts to improve road safety. Their multi-faceted approach encompasses:
- targeting high-risk behaviour (for example, speeding and running red lights)
- enforcement
- education and public awareness initiatives
- research and development
- improvements to Victoria’s road system.
The Victorian Road Safety Strategy aims to halve deaths by 2030 and put us on a strong path to eliminate all road deaths by 2050.
