- The 'Linear (CityLink)' line shows a downward trend in the number of fines being issued since the camera system began operating in December 2004.
- Fines are recorded at the offence date.
- Does not include tolling offences.
- Includes fines issued for speeding and unregistered vehicles.
- The number of fines reported in quarters 1 and 2, 2011–12, were affected by Victoria Police Association work bans.
- Road works and camera maintenance may influence the number of fines issued.

- The 'Linear (Hume Freeway)' line shows the trend in the number of fines being issued since the camera system began operating in April 2007.
- Victoria Police suspended the use of all point-to-point cameras on the Hume Freeway on 14 October 2010. The point-to-point camera system was reactivated in August 2012. Infringements issued after this time will be reflected in data produced from the first quarter of 2012-13 onwards.

- The ‘Linear (Western Ring Road)' line shows the trend in the number of fines being issued since the camera system began operating in April 2007. The uncharacteristic spike in the last quarter of 2011-12 can be attributed to the reactivation of fixed cameras on this highway at Keilor Park Drive (Keilor East) on Thursday 5 April 2012.

- Includes fines issued for speeding and unregistered vehicles.
- The number of fines reported in quarters 1 and 2, 2011–12, were affected by Victoria Police Association work bans.
- Two additional camera sites have been upgraded and re-activated in April 2012.

- The number of fines issued is subject to variation over time as they may be withdrawn or reissued.
