- mobile digital road safety camera (speed)
- distracted driver and seatbelt detection camera (portable devices and seatbelts).

What happens next
Your submission will be referred to the Road Safety Camera Site Selection Committee. The committee receives many suggestions from the public. The assessment process is rigorous and can take some time to complete. Read more about how road safety camera locations are chosen.
If a location is approved for a fixed digital road safety camera, it will be placed on a prioritised list and may be considered in a submission to seek government funding. If funding is approved, there will be a procurement process for the installation. This process can take several months.
If the location is not suitable for a camera, we may:
- refer your suggestion to Victoria Police to consider other enforcement options (including deploying a mobile digital road safety camera and/or a distracted driver and seatbelt detection camera)
- refer your suggestion to the Department of Transport and Planning for further assessment
- close your submission.
