Sessional services can use the information and resources on this page to support parents and carers with the transition to using Arrival SISO.
Services may also refer to the Arrival implementation checklist for recommended actions to support the transition to using Arrival for attendance data collection.
Kindergartens collect attendance data when families sign their children in and out each day. Currently this might be done using paper sign in sheets or a digital system.
Beginning in 2026, kindergartens must report this data to the Victorian Department of Education. The department will use this information to support kindergarten attendance as part of the Preschool Reform Agreement, so that all Victorian children receive the full learning and development benefits of a quality early childhood education.
To support data reporting, some kindergartens that use paper sign in sheets to record attendance will be moving to a digital sign in and sign out system called Arrival SISO.
