Best Start Best Life Conference 28 March 2025 - Highlight Video

Speaker 1:
Good morning, everyone, and a big Melbourne welcome to the Best Start, Best Life 2025 Educational Leaders Conference.

Damini Sankhyayan:
The speaker, John Spencer, just talked about, I was really impressed how he explained the neurons, how they run zero to five years of the age, and how this scaffolding happening. It's, like, amazing. And then we go back, we share it to our educators, and these learnings keep going on. So it's beautiful idea.

Alison Teece:
To me, I think, they're fantastic network opportunities-

Speaker 4:
Yes.

Alison Teece:
... and finding old friends opportunities. I think that's really important, so connecting back to the sector. And then also, just revisiting research and information that then you can connect back to your own service and individual children in your service and to teachers in your team.

Connie Aldamiz:
For me, it has been about listening to the keynote speakers who have just been amazing, and gaining valuable information that can help with our best practices in kinder, and also, learning more about the Best Start, Best Life and how that's going to impact our children in future years and educators as well.

Hannah Cassells:
It's a really good opportunity to network, and so it's nice to see everyone here. And I also love all the different vendors.

Diksha Bhardwaj:
I have visited one of the exhibition stalls, which has provided me information with a course I can attend for my leadership skills.

Joshua Daymond:
I think just being able to listen to the guest speakers and really build on that knowledge, but also, to have that reassurance about the knowledge that we already have, and just to be able to collaborate and have those questions answered for us that we're unsure about as early childhood teachers.

Deanna Song:
It's a really, really great opportunity to meet so many people knowing that you're all working for the same vision. Like, you don't feel alone. You get to learn from each other.
