About the RSSF
The RSSF acknowledges that both newly arrived and established migrant communities have distinct settlement needs and face multiple barriers. These may include:
- communication challenges
- cultural differences
- financial literacy
- visa status uncertainty
- social isolation
- experiences of discrimination, racism, trauma and displacement.
The aim of the RSSF is to provide settlement supports and services for newly arrived and established migrant communities in regional Victoria. This essential level of support will help newly arrived migrants call regional Victoria their home.
Funding objectives
