Victorian Skills Gateway for training providers

Ensure your courses are included and current on the Victorian Skills Gateway.

Students across the state use the Victorian Skills Gateway to explore training opportunities offered by TAFE and training providers. Add and maintain your listings to ensure that students can find the latest details on your offerings.

Report your training delivery data

To report training delivery data to the Department, you'll need to access the Skills Victoria Training System (SVTS).

Add your information to the VSG

To add information about your training organisation and courses to the VSG, you will need to have first registered with the Australian Course Information Register (ACIR)(opens in a new window).

Register with ACIR

To register with ACIR, visit ACIR - New Registration(opens in a new window) or contact info@goodeducation.com.au

You’ll need to provide:

  • your organisation's name
  • your Training Organisation Identification (TOID) (or Provider Number, or RTO code or number)
  • contact details (name, position, email and phone number of the person who is responsible for updating your data).

Once you have registered, you'll receive a username and password, and information about how to add and update your information on the register.

Update your information on the VSG

It is recommended that you check your courses in the ACIR portal once a month.

Note that your changes in the ACIR portal will not display on the VSG immediately, they will be sent as part of the monthly course update cycle.

If you need to update any information, such as your address or scope, you need to do this immediately with the ACIR.

When you update information with the ACIR, the changes will appear on the Victorian Skills Gateway in the next monthly update.

There is no fee for adding or changing information on the ACIR or the Victorian Skills Gateway.
