Barbara is an outstanding leader committed to serving people through maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.

As Chair of the Board of Monash Health since 2009, Barbara has made an enormous contribution to the health sector. Leading Victoria's largest health service, Barbara has ensured maximum public benefit through a service that is of both the highest quality and greatest efficiency. The service continues to provide record levels of care to 1.3 million people living in south east Melbourne.

Barbara's service to Victorians extends across the senior board roles among various sectors of great community importance, including the position of Director in the Melba Conservatorium of Music, Trustee of the Melba Opera Trust, Director of the Victoria State Emergency Service, Chair of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Audit Committee, and member of the Gambling and Lotteries Licence Review Panel in Victoria.

Over two decades, Barbara has ensured many major public institutions and endeavours have delivered great value to the community through rigorous financial and risk management, and corporate governance. Her outstanding knowledge and skills in financial management and risk analysis continues to be keenly sought by both the public and private sectors.
