As the father of a child with a disability, Peter Langkamp is acutely aware of the issues surrounding lifelong support and its impact on families. He is a director of genU, The Disability Trust and ermha365, organisations that advocate for a national focus on disability and mental health. He was previously president of Carers Australia, the national peak body representing Australia’s unpaid carers.

Peter has had a long and successful career in corporate life acting in high-level capacities across many prominent Australian companies, including the National Disability Insurance Agency, Shell Australia, NRMA and Accenture. He served as eCommerce lead at Bendigo Bank and provided core technology services to Australia’s tertiary education sector.

In 1995, Peter conceived and launched the FlyBuys program, a customer loyalty card that is still used across the Wesfarmers retail family. His work developing this and similar platforms has earnt industry plaudits, including two AFA Advertising Effectiveness Awards.

Peter is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
