Sally Cockburn has promoted the message of healthy bodies and relationships in Australian media for over two decades. In the 90s, she hosted the highly successful Austereo radio talk program, Pillowtalk, on more than 20 stations around Australia. Her media career also includes nine years as health presenter on Channel 10's Good Morning Australia and her own talkback program on Channel 7. Sally is currently a regular health commentator on 3AW’s Neil Mitchell Program and Channel 9’s TODAY.

Sally teaches health journalism to medical students and lectures in postgraduate psychiatry. She is chair of the Monash Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences Alumni sub-committee and sits on the Faculty Foundation Board. She sits on the board of Family Planning Victoria and is also a consultant to Parks Victoria on the innovative ‘Healthy Parks, Healthy People’ project.

Sally is a member of the Patrons Council of the Royal District Nursing Service, Melbourne Osteoporosis Support Group, Reach Out Southern Mental Health Association, Marie Stopes International and ambassador for the Lort Smith Animal Hospital.
