About

Jason Yeap OAM is the chairman of Mering Corporation and director of the Tipperary Station Group.

He was appointed as a trustee of the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) in June 2005, reappointed in 2008 and 2011, and made chair of the NGV Foundation in 2012. Jason also served as a council member of the National Gallery of Australia from 2014 to 2018.

He on several advisory boards and committees, including the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, The Nature Conservancy, the Australian National University Centre for Asian-Australian Leadership, and the University of Melbourne’s Asian Advisory Board, which he currently chairs. He is also a member of the Australian Multicultural Council, and a patron of Multicultural Arts Victoria.

Previously Jason has served as an advisory board or committee member for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Trade and Investment Policy Advisory Council, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, the University of Melbourne, Monash University and Swinburne University of Technology.
