The Portable Rental Bond Scheme lets renters transfer their existing bond to a new rental property.
With portable bonds, your bond money moves with you. Instead of paying a new bond upfront, you can transfer your bond money to your next rental property through the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority platform.
It is optional for renters and costs $25 to use.
